Hi, thanks for the kind words. Though it wasn't TOO hard to compile the list. :) Took a couple or few hours I suppose. The people who should get the most credit for the work are the people who made the videos! :D Not really sure about most reliable as I am fairly new to the 3DO scene, but I definitely like the original front loading FZ-1 model the best! :D

It's not your PC. Youtube loves to time out videos. I get this all the time with Flashblock when I take a while to open a video up. Great for queuing up videos in my Firefox tabs, though.

The 3DO Buffet is a sampler disc that has demos/videos (or is it just videos) for some unremarkable/common 3DO games...and also the never released Waterworld.

Everytime I click directly on the videos from this thread an error occurs where I can't see them. But when I do it directly from youtube I don't have a problem. It might be my pc though.

It's not your PC. Youtube loves to time out videos. I get this all the time with Flashblock when I take a while to open a video up. Great for queuing up videos in my Firefox tabs, though.

The 3DO Buffet is a sampler disc that has demos/videos (or is it just videos) for some unremarkable/common 3DO games...and also the never released Waterworld.

Started adding my 3DO videos to YouTube. So far today:

I'll also be uploading many that are already on the list (like today i also added Shockwave:Operation Jumpgate and Shockwave 2) but I think I might be able to get a few of them in better quality....

On Vols. 2 & 3, you'll see clips of Toon Time and Flying Nightmares so that kills two birds with one stone...or is that with two videos with one link? ;)

Thanks for reinvigorating my love for my 3DO. I am part of the original owners group (yes the "$699" group lol) and I'm having a blast going through all of my games again!

I know you were talking to LiquidPolicenaut, but the 3DO is one of those systems I'll always have love for too. It was the first uncommon system I've ever found in the wild(at a flea market) and the fact that I talked him down from $2 to $1 makes it even more memorable. And since that day some 6+ years ago, I've found five additional 3D0's, three of them within the last year. I have three of them in my game room as I type this.

Anyway, I feel that it was a system that was ahead of it's time. It also was ridiculously overpriced but we already knew that(back then $700 could have bought you a car, apartment and a stripper, although I'm just guessing about the stripper:angel:) Had they managed and marketed it better and brought some of the exclusive Japanese games here, it could have done much better. But it's still one of my favorite retro systems to collect for so it's all good.

Also LOL @ what else you could have bought instead of a $700 3DO in 1993. :D

It's def a cool system and one thing about it I like in particular is the high resolution all 3DO games run. Even using AV cables all of the games look crystal clear.

I recently played MegaRace on 3DO, and the intro to that game is hilarious for all the wrong reasons. The announcer for the game just has the funniest way of talking. It's pretty obvious at times that he's reading right off a teleprompter. He keeps looking down at it every so often. It's like they just did one take of that intro and said, "This will do". Lol. It's pretty freaking hilarious.

I know the feeling, I made a bunch of youTube vids by pointing my cam at the tv. I only recently installed a capture card in my PC so now my vids are much more professional! :D

lol ya 3do fmv is straight up comedy. At the time it was new and fresh I suppose, and adds some, if not a lot, of "flair" to the game.. :P

I just checked out the fighting game ports. I've never actually seen a 3DO in person nor watched any actual gameplay footage before, so when I hear people sing it's praises I feel left outta the loop.

The fighting game ports look fairly nice for their time... well, besides the loading times. Ouch.
