Thats definately worth a lot more than 100 bucks. Great find.

My guesses are you made back the value of the lot (if inflated eBay sales are any indication) on the three Nintendo-license games and Escape from Cyber City. The rest is probably all sucky (or outdated, i.e. the encyclopedia) but no reason to leave it behind. Probably worth about what you paid for it (I know I'm not accounting for the player's value; I guess it's the mental leap of "would you pay more than $100 for this").

What do you estimate for the player?

I'm guessing maybe $30 / each per Nintendo title (tops, though eBay will go higher probably, heh) and $20 on the Escape From Cyber City. The system, maybe $50 as a lowball (it IS complete and has lots of controllers, and packaging). The rest, dunno but Pinball looks like it could garner interest - but besides that...maybe Tetris, Video Speedway, or A Great Day at the Races (depending if the last two are actually games, not sure I've heard of them before, but I doubt they're gems and Capers has to be bad ;) ).

I remember during the AVGN review of the CD-i, he said that the zelda titles cost an absolute mint.

understatement

Zelda's Adventure is the one that might cost a mint (80~120) but not those two I would say 30 is right on the mark for the average. Even so, I would have got this for 100 if I were there.
