Today before I went to work I decided to stop by the Value Village across the street from my work(Andrews AFB) and this is what I found:
Super Nintendo
Star Fox Super Weekend Competetion Cart
Star Fox
Final Fantasy II
The Magical Quest starring Mickey Mouse
Super Ghouls N Ghosts
The Lost Vikings
EVO
Road Runners Death Valley Rally
Nintendo games
The original mario bros
Ghostbusters
I got all the games for 1.61 a piece.
How much is Star Fox Competetion Cart worth?
Thanks

I got a 2600 Mr. Do's Castle for 49 cents once.
What is a Star Fox Super Weekend Competetion Cart? Is this different than a normal Star Fox cart for the SNES? I don't know much about the SNES.

It was a cartridge made to have a hi score competition I believe and they were for stand up displays at like toys r us.. not available to the public... i think.

@Sothy - You're right on the money.
It is a timed cart like the DKC one. You play 5 minutes then the game freezes and your score is awarded. I believe these are fairly hard to come by compared to the DKC ones. As far as I know all the Competitiopn carts were supposed to be returned to Nintendo. The DKC carts were then sold back thru the Nintendo Power Club. I do not think the Star Fox ones were resold like that tho I could be wrong. It would explain the relative difference in rarity.

Cool. Thanks for the info. Is the label a lot different than the normal carts? I bought a few NCAA Basketball games for the SNES at funco that say something like demo only on the label. I have not tried them yet. I have been busy moving.

yea, the labels a lot different. it says super starfox weekend on it, over a logo with a blue sphere with a yellow ring around it(like the planet saturn) if i remember correctly
