The worklog WIP for the system is HERE (http://forums.modretro.com/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=35)

The full worklog is on my Wordpress site (http://moddedbybacteria.wordpress.com/retro-console-system-modding-guides/turbografx-pc-engine/intografx-build/), along with other tutorials, please have a look! This project (IntoGrafx) and previous one (IntoPlay) are on two sections - finished project and how-to guides on my site. That is to keep sections separate for modding the console system and also making the portable.

Please note - the Wordpress site has a limit of 35 users on at any one time, so if the site is busy, please try again in a few minutes!

Is this for sale or if not, would it be possible to make it for others. I want to make stuff like this, but when it comes to soldering and schematics, I suck at it.

No, not for sale; takes a considerable amount of time to make one, although on my links you can obtain details of how to make your own.

This may sound stupid, but I learn from seeing instead of reading. Is there anybody out there that I can learn this stuff from? Like I said, I really want to learn how to do stuff like this and plus Ben Heck finally wrote a book on how to do some of his stuff.

Best idea is to register on http://forums.modretro.com/index.php where I am very active and others are too - there a a fair number of members there in your country, perhaps if you post there they might offer to see you??

Where does the television adapter plug in?

Just kidding ;). Seriously, that's a very nice looking piece of work. Well done!

Good job! That's is simply awesome sauce lol. It's too bad NEC didn't have that technology on the cheap way back when. Then it might have had a chance against the green and white GameBoy.

On another note, I wish Nintendo would make the Japanese Super Grafx and all the various PC Engine CD games available for virtual console, but I guess that's just a dream.
Still, I'd love to try out your IntoGrafx.

I was going to ask why you'd do this, since the TurboExpress already exists (instead of modding some other system). Now I see why. Looks great!

Because the TurboExpress:

-Is Rare
-Is Expensive
-Doesn't have a region mod
-Sound chip sucks
-No rechargability(unless you use rechargables)

That is super-cool. I have always been disappointed with my TG Express... crap screen, wrong orientation, and the horrible sound.

Excellent work!
