The laser moves on my 3DO, but the laser itself won't come on and read discs. I'm trying to figure out what may be wrong with it and what I can do about it. It is the FZ-10 model.

I just looked and found that it might be the spindle. The disc won't spin, but the laser moves when I push it down on the part that makes sure the door is closed after I took it apart.
