Where are #'s 1-4? I mean, the title is Ogre Battle Episode V: March of the Black Queen. Is this just like Star Wars, but they started with V instead of IV? Are they just going out of order? Or are there long lost and forgotten games in the Ogre Battle/Tactics series? I mean, apparently the Tactics series is part of this too since Tactics Ogre is marked "seven." Of course this kind of doesn't make sense either considering the Saturn Tactics Ogre game was released in 1996, but Ogre Battle 64 is considered episode six... tho I can't find any text on the actual box or cart that states that it's episode six... and it was released in 1999.

So what's up w/ this series??? Tactics Ogre: Knights of Lodis is a prequel, from what I understand (haven't played it). It also doesn't feature an episode designation. Anyone know if it HAS an official episode designation and, if so, what that designation is?

They haven't made episode 1-4. It is same as Star Wars starting on IV

And they never will. Square owns the Ogre Battle Saga now.

The games I've played it goes. Ogre Battle March of the Black Queen is episode five, Ogre Battle 64 is a direct sequel, Tactics Ogre Let Us Cling Together is episode seven, Tactics Ogre Knight of Lodis is a direct prequel(the true ending of KoL is the very beginning of LUCT.)

There's also Ogre Battle Legend of the Zenobian Prince, but I don't know where this one fits in as it's Japan only.

Ogre Battle 64 is considered episode 6. The portable versions are basically gaidens.
