disc scratch repair

Does anyone know of an effective disc scratch removal repair method? i recently bought "ScratchOut!" from blockbuster thinking that it might have a chance of repairing my unplayable or at least un readable Way of the Warrior for the 3DO. I did everything just like the instructions ask and it actually looks worse and of course doesn't work.

The scratches are not the type of scratches where you can feel them, but they are all over the back of the disc. Anyway will i be better off taking it somewhere like PlaynTrade to get it repaired/resurfaced?

I would like to know as well. I got a Lunar 2 soundtrack disk (one that comes with the game) cheap from a garage sale, but it wasn't in very good condition. I'm not sure what to do with it since I already have a copy.

I know that gamecrazy has a resurfacing machine that they charge around $2 or $3 to use.

go buy one of those scratche cleaning kits for about 20.00 they work on about 90% of the scratched disc.....as long as there not deep...:cheers:

i actually went by play n trade this morning and they were able to get most of the scratches buffed out..however, there were a few scratches that were simply too deep. The game is now a coaster.
