View Full Version : A tough decision!

Not sure if this is the right forum, but anyways...

I have copy of Dragon Force listed on Amazon for £70 as Disc only (but in mint condition), a stupid price for Disc only. I was quite unwilling to sell it but I thought at that price... why not? Now someone has enquired about it and is willing to pay that price. I find myself unsure whether to sell...

I know at some point I'll want the Box/Manual and would probably end up buying the whole game again but I really love the game, and it'll be a bugger to get hold of. Of course I can always emulate, and I have played it to death... a tough decision! Any advice?

Why would you list it on amazon, if your not willing to sale it, that make's no sense.

I concur with the previous comment.

I am, just at a very high price... which someone is willing to pay. Now I find myself unsure. Gah.

IMO if you list something for sale and someone pays you for it then you are required to complete the transaction. If the person has not already paid then you can unlist the game. Do not sell something you do not want to part with.

Not really the forum for this, mods can we move this to what's it worth?

I don't think it's a tough decision at all - sell it. You should have thought more about it before you listed it. But since you have listed it you should follow through.

Just sell it and if you decide you 'need' it later get another. Not difficult.

If its for a really high price use the money to buy a complete copy of the game, problem solved!

The game sells for around 50-60 GBP complete, I would take that 70 in a heartbeat.

This isn't a "rare" game in that any time you want a copy there's one sitting there on Ebay waiting for you. Obviously, since you want a complete copy, it would have been a good idea to watch some non-BIN auctions and snatch one up for a good price, THEN sell your disc only copy. But since you put that disc only up for sale, you might as well sell it and get a complete one. The chances of you finding the box & manual by themselves is fairly slim, so I don't really see what the big deal is about selling a game so you can upgrade.
