Sealed? Pretty decent price, considering most game chains (GameStop and PnT namely) carry used ones for $39.99.

Whoosh to What's it Worth!
and a NIB GBA for 29 isn't a bad price at all. Even if its not the sp2, it really doesn't matter. They are worth the 30.

We all should really raid our local FYEs... they're a goldmine for sealed GBA stuff. Just three months ago I got FFVI Advance for $7 in mint condition (and proceeded to sit on the box later that night >_>)

$30 for a factory sealed game boy advance sp is a steal. they're worth around $90-$120.

From the video game fairy of course. Isn't that how everyone finds what video games are worth?

eBay BIN listings are now the final word on pricing, apparently.
I hate to break it to you, but sealed GBA SP do actually sell for the buy-it-now prices you see. Sealed are indeed worth anywhere from 100-150 depending on the color/model.
I would buy every single sealed one I found at that $30 price. I would keep two for myself, though.

What sucks is that apparently the ONLY one of these stores in Seattle is the one in the Westlake Center Mall, and it carries CDs and DVDs exclusively, no games of any kind or anything to do w/ gaming.

Jeez, SPs sure did keep their price. Checked out the pricing - a few have slipped through under $100, but not many.
Figures a deal like this would come along and of course I've got no money for it. I'll be keeping my eyes peeled for like deals.

I've been going to FYE a lot lately for my gaming needs. They'll often have games new cheaper then gamestops used game prices.

you mean to tell me that a loose legend of zelda isn't worth $25? but they're gold.
who ever said BIN listings are the final word on pricing?
BIN listings are even higher on the sp's. the few that you do see selling for $60-$70 are either "new" but not factory sealed or from hong kong. like i said, sp's (excluding the special editions) are worth around $90-$120 factory sealed.

It actually does make sense. GBA SP was a scratch magnet. Look how battered and bruised the used ones are that you see at Gamestop or PnT. It's disturbing, really. I'd go as far to say that mint condition SPs are rare.

I bought 7 from FYE locally a year ago for $50 each and sold them all on ebay BIN for $119 each. All sales closed within six hours of posting. Definitely a good deal at that price fella.

Same here. The FYE's all stopped carrying games earlier this year except for one located in the city. And theres no telling how much longer they will carry games.
At the OP, pick it up. This reminds me when Walmart was clearancing out their remaining stock of GBA bundles for $29.99. I picked one up but I've always regretted not picking up a second one. I could have sold it later on or used it for trade bait.
