So i just saw the avgn episode with all the crazy castle games. There was one game in particular that got my attention that was crazy castle 2. I remember playing this game when i was around 8 but not with bugs bunny but with mickey mouse? So i ran through my gameboy collection and found the cart and it's the exact same game as bugs bunny's crazy castle 2 except every sprite is replaced with disney characters. So what's the deal did i get a pirate game or where they released twice but with different characters?

It could be a license issue. I know that Kid Klown for the NES was a Mickey game on the Famicom. All of Mickey's sprites/cut scenes were changed to Kid Klown in the states due to licensing issues.
It's possible that the Euro GB Crazy Castles has Mickey sprites while the North American has Bugs Bunny Sprites. Or maybe your GB title is an Asian release?
This is all speculation mind you.
Capcom had exclusive rights in the U.S. to use Disney characters in NES games. The game sprites had to be changed when it was released in the U.S. to avoid legal issues.
It was originally called Mickey Mouse 2 in Japan.

Kemco did a lot of license-swapping then.
Crazy Castle for NES originally featured Roger Rabbit (which I guess would be Disney if Touchstone released it. But LJN also released a Roger Rabbit game.)
The Real Ghostbusters for GB (USA) was Mickey Mouse IV in one region (Japan?) and Garfield Labyrinth in another (EU?).
