So today I got a commodore plus/4 in the box. The lady said its never been used, and it looks brand new. Any idea of a value? Anyone interested? I plan to sell this as it doesn't interest me. Thanks alot!

It's not worth much. I bought one for $6 earlier this year, although the packing material inside the box wasn't intact. The Plus/4 was a real turd and everybody knew it when it came out. So they didn't sell well and nobody has any nostalgia for it, other than the somewhat backwater European countries Commodore dumped their unsold stock on at firesale prices. The Plus/4 and Commodore 16 seemed like an idea someone came up with blueprints for, but with the shakeup in the industry along with Sam Tramiel being ousted from the company it seems like a project that nobody ever thought to put the brakes on since it was a bad idea at heart.

Steve pretty much nailed it. It is pretty common to find them new or close to new in box. COMB sold them in the 80s during liquidation sales for $79. The people who bought them probably put them in the box after using it for about 10 minutes. I'd guess around $25-30 at most.

I'd pay $10+shipping, providing that it works...
