Turbo Duo CD-Audio issue

I turned on my Duo for the first time in a while today and played a couple of games. None of them had music or cinematic audio. I.e., any audio coming off the CD itself isn't playing at all. Only in-game sound effects work.

Is the laser going bad? The games still load and play fine otherwise, that's why I was hesitant to think that was the case.

It is well documented that the Duo has an issue with capicators that causes CD audio to not work after a while. I have a duo that needs to be on for a half hour and then the CD audio kicks in. Check google for what your optons are. Theres people on the pcenginefx boards that will replace your capicators for a fee.

Well shit burgers. Does anyone on DP fix the problem? Never been over to PCEngine boards and don't know anyone.
