I was thinking of offering him 150 for it. Do you think it's worth it? I don't know anything about them or how to fix it but it seems like a good price and I could probably have someone else fix it for me. Any info on it would be helpful. thanks!

That ad doesn't make sense. Of course it's not going to boot up if there is no pcb in it! If the monitor's appear to be in good shape, it would be worth $150. I've seen several Punch-Out machines sell for $350-$400 complete and working. It's a simple machine to restore too, as the side art, control panel overlay (decals), and t-molding are available and fairly cheap. Check this guy's restoration:

I am in the process of restoring my Punch-Out! but it probably won't be as thorough as his--just a lot of magic eraser, recapped monitor, new t-molding, joystick, buttons and side art. That's about $150 for parts.

eh, not really the valley. I live in jersey by phillipsburg. The lehigh valley craigslist is closest to me though.
