View Full Version : Neo Geo Pocket Colour + 3 games = £50?

I was hunting around my city today for games and in one second hand electronics store, I came across a NGPC. It came with 3 games and had a price tag of £50. One of the games was Sonic Pocket Adventure, not sure what the other two were and didn't want to ask as I didn't have the money on me. All games were boxed. Was it a good deal or was I right to miss?

Depends on the games. Sonic is one of the most common games out there.

And I've already got a copy, might pop back and investigate what the other games were. Any rare games I should make a note of that would get me a good re-sell price? (which are Pal and go for over £50). Thanks

Unless they were one of the super-expensive games it doesn't seem worth it. They are pretty cheap on eBay all the time.
I'm no PAL guy, but I think the most expensive PAL games are Pocket Reversi, Faselei!, and Evolution.

Only other one I could think of thats in demand for PAL land is Dive Alert: Becky's Version.

Not sure about PAL but I think Matt's Version is rarer? Definitely if one of the games is Evolution, pick the dang thing up cuz you're getting a steal. Otherwise, I don't think it's worth that at all. The other thing is that the games might not necessarily be PAL titles. There are some other games that are fairly rare/pricey for the system, like Cotton. I don't really know enough about the NGPC to talk about any others tho.

Ironically, getting the US version of that game was a pain as well. It barely appeared on Ebay, and my past thread on DP didn't achieve fruition.
So I guess maybe that game is tough to find as is?

Neo Geo Pocket Colors have become very affordable over the last two years, averaging around $20-30 with some games included. But as mentioned, some games are worth much more than offers.
