Well, as of 5am central, the new update is here. Browsing the new shops right now and having a good laugh. $30 for Rockstar Table Tennis....240 msp to dress your avatar up like LeChuck the pirate or buy your avatar a skateboard. Hoo boy.
Curious to see how the party/invite systems have been improved on, last night's Mahvel session was a bit of a headache.

yeah, the update does look kinda lame, since I have zero desire to play dress up dolls with my avatar, but browsing and adding movies to netflix through the dashboard interests me.

$30 for table tennis, that makes no sense? You can walk into basically any store and get it for $19.99 or less.

You have to remember its one thing when its a ms title being lsited and another when its another company. Though having said that they should drop msot of the titles 10 bucks and they would sell.

Thank god they're adding queue browsing to Netflix. You'd think that'd be something they'd have from the start.

i just dled the update myself, i dont see any changes so far that would benefit me at all. but oh well.

Best improvement I've seen so far is for how the achievements are displayed. They way they used to be was just a list, and you had to select each to read the requirements. One by one, it was slow and annoying. The new method of putting all the icons up and displaying the requirement at the top seems like they actually paid attention to the feedback on their forums.

Mandatory updates piss me off.
I probably won't turn my 360 on for awhile, so someone tell me, are there more ads? less ads?

I've had the beta update for the past few weeks. That was the exact time I stopped being able to communicate in-game or in parties. Hopefully now that everyone will have the same dashboard version, I can talk/listen to my friends again.
Also: Everything (mainly Avatar pictures in the friends list) loads much faster.

Not noticing any ads, but I'm not really clicking around everywhere on all the menus if you catch my drift. Besides, why pay to advertise on an update that not everyone has yet?

Man Netflix is a bitch.
Now I don't have to sit at the damn computer and search for stuff. Now instead of sleeping, I can browse through shit for hours and hours from the comfort of my own bed.
I now have 25 new items to my queue. Thanks for the insomnia assholes!

The update has made searching the menus alot faster. Theres a little lag once you sign on but once everything refreshes it's super smooth sailing....almost as if they added speed boost to it.
The new updates ae ok but nothing that I have to have right away. I'm probably going to buy that lightsaber later.

I feel the same way I've been adding a bunch of movies to my queue all day. Which led me to watching movies all day in perfect bliss.

OK, I didn't notice it until this morning, but god damn this is cool. As if I needed any more incentive to be an achievement whore.

I like how you can go into the recently played list and just press x now and send feedback right away to the players. Will make it a lot easier to block boosters and idiots from playing you again.

That is pretty damn cool and I didn't even notice it yesterday. It also means I need to complete more than just the one game I completed.
