Hi there, i am thinking on starting 2 arcade cabinet projects. Both of them are replicas, one from PONG, and the other for pac-man, its gonna take some time to complete, because my budget is very limited, but still its worth the try, i dont have any expirience on arcade cabinets, but i have some ideias, for pacman il be using a old computer and the game will boot via floppy disk on DOS, easy stuff, for Pong is more complicated has its very hard to actualy emulate the actual pong gameplay, so im going to the most close, and afordable way, that is to get a Pong Home System, and after some modifications use it for the gameplay.

Now some questions and requests.

Of course i need mesurments for the cabinet, i have managed do found some for Pong on the web but for pac-man i came out empty so if anyone could get me those il be thankfull.

For pac-man i also wanted to use a original controller base, and the original coin op. if anyone knows where i can get these, for cheap please tell me.

I wanted to know the monitors size for each cabinet, and what kind of monitors tu use, for pac-man i intend to use a normal CRT monitor but for pong its again more complicated, i cant use a monitor, so a tv but as i wanted to stick close to the original as possible, i wanted a black and white tv.

And for now thats the only questions i have, i hope i can complete this project.

PS: im from europe, so if you could get me the mesurments in Metric, that would be helpfull.

Thank you to all.

I would love to have Tengen's Ms. Pacman (NES version) in an arcade. This is the best version of Ms. Pacman out there for any system. It has cooperative 2 player as well as many different mazes. It is loaded with tons of options that are not found on any other version. There is a guy who can put it on a playchoice board, but it isnt 2-player. I gues emulation or modding a NES (inside a cabnet) is the only way.
