I know there's crap for decent games for the thing, but..What if I can snag a decent deal on one with a poopload of games? Even worth it at all? And by poopload, I mean:

I realize I could have posted this in the 'What Its Worth?' and I probably will once I get details on WHAT games are actually there, but until then...From a collector's standpoint, I thought this would be the thread to put this in.

Holy cow-on-a-stick... how much was the seller asking for that? I've never seen so many CD-i programs all in the same place before. I'm sure most of them are educational or academic titles, but still... There's got to be some Zeldas and Marios in there.

Sure, the CD-i wasn't exactly a stellar gaming console, but it still has games worth playing. I say go for it, if it won't break the bank. And if you don't like a lot of the software, you can always sell them in bundles here.

They're asking $100 obo for everything..That was including a system, controllers and 3 of those video card thingies for extra memory, and all of those games.

I just received a reply saying that the games are still available..Looks like the system walked off..Since they were asking $100 with the system, I'll see if I can knock the price down a bit...Its only fair. lol.

There was one close up of the games and yes, there are a few doubles and quite a lot are still sealed..Was definitely hoping there was a few sealed Zeldas in there. :D

I'm not sure what you're referring to. I don't know if the CD-i had memory card facilities (I never got that into the system, I just wanted to play some games on it). I don't suppose they're talking about the MPEG-1 video cards to play back Video CDs? Shoot, I wouldn't mind having one of those for my Philips 220.

Yeah, without the console, I would absolutely want a price reduction on that stuff. Let us know how it works out!

I definitely agree with Ed Oscuro, I'd jump on that big time.

It really depends on what the games are, obviously. If someone bought the system and DIDN'T TAKE ANY games, that's a warning sign that all or most are garbage. There's really only a few games worth any cash, the rest are just about worthless. Not to say that there's no decent titles for the system, but most of what's available are educational software, and even the good games are mostly very cheap.

So, what, you need to make back a quarter on each game, possibly less. Some of those stacks look like they have sixty titles in them!

I'll take a 7th Guest or one of the two Zelda titles if there's one! :rocker:

If you don't sell bundles with key titles included, then you're going to be stuck with a lot of hard to sell games, even if you sell them off cheaply.
