Forget Google and Yahoo toolbars, here's one you can actually USE. Instant links to the forums, feeds, online guide and more. Try it! You can always uninstall it or hide it if it's not what you need.

And if it isn't, let us know what we missed!

Click the banner to try it. Or if you want to read a little more about it first, check HERE (http://digitalpress.ourtoolbar.com/).

Now that is just plain cool. Very nice addition, especially the RSS feed.

Is this for Firefox?

Yes. Also tested with Microsoft Internet Explorer 8.

I usually detest most toolbars, but this one I can definitely tolerate :)

Linux as well, or is this a Windows-only thing?

It's funny, because my regular Firefox bookmark bar more or less looks like this now with button links to the forum, the price guide and my blog. Still, this looks really slick so I'll switch to it. Thanks, Joe.

It *should* work with Linux but I don't have a Linux-based box to test it with. I don't think this will work with standard versions of Opera or Chrome, however (it may download but I don't believe custom toolbars are supported on these browsers).

OK, it does work on Ubuntu 8.10 w/ Firefox 3.0.13. Excellent!

I tried it for 10 min. or so, and all I kept getting for the 1st page were non-DP spam links in the search results.

They're "sponsored links", and it is at MAX the first four results of a search. I thought about doing away with the search bar altogether but it actually will perform 3-letter searches on the forum, so looking for "PS2 ICO" is a possibility there whereas it will yield no results using the forum search.

This is the first toolbar I ever had installed on my system without visiting a porn site first. Kudos!

Too bad it isn't Mac-compatible. :(

Too bad it isn't Mac-compatible. :(

But I'm on a Mac using it with Safari. It works great!

I just wish I could add other gaming forums to the drop down list. :/

Oh nevermind. I thought it was PC-only because the direct link in Joe's original post was an .exe file. I stand corrected. :)

Can you make it so the shout, is hideable?

Also, can you expand it so you can search the rarity guide directly?

hey this seems really neat - well done!

Is there any way to make it Opera compatible?

THAT I have no control over, maybe it will adapt over time. I have been using it since it was built and it's been very useful and resourceful for the small amount of space it takes up. Then again, my handle is "digitalpress" :)

Why does every one and his dog have a custom toolbar these days?

I've got it installed now. I haven't used any toolbars in the past but it looks pretty plain in my opinion.

I guess it's like having a website. Or a phone number. Everyone and his dog has one because it's easy to have. You're not a regular here but for those who are hopefully this reduces the number of clicks and makes things a little more accessible.

PS Please send along your dog's custom toolbar, I'd love to see that.
