Sega 32x Knuckles Chaotix Problem...

Hey everyone, i'm anthony, i'm new here, I was wondering if anyone could help me out. I recently just purchased a Knuckles Chaotix on ebay, the game would freeze and load up all scrambled, I thought it was a problem with the game, I returned it and got a second one from someone else, same thing happened, all my other genesis, 32x, and cd games work fine. Anybody have any ideas?...or do I just have ridiculous bad luck that I can get two games that glitch the exact same way, thanks in advance.

I've had three copies and two 32X systems. All of them do the same thing. I've only played the game on an emulator. You're not the only one with a problem.

I have this problem as well. I used to think that it was the 32x but I'm not so sure after reading this thread.

The 32X is REALLY glitchy. I can remember having particular trouble with Chaotix. It would play for awhile, but when I shut it off and tried to load it up again after taking a break it would freeze. I also had it freeze once or twice during the game. I don't know if the 32X was overheating or something or if it was the game, but I had lots of trouble getting it to work.

I have heard about a lot of people having trouble with this game, my copy tends to freeze up every once in a while during gameplay, but never at start-up. But overall my copy works fine.

Judging from the scrambled thing, I would say make sure you clean the cart with a Q-tip or two and some rubbing alcohol, the scrambling could be a sign of dirty contacts.

I just loaded up a third and might I add final copy of this game, and still the same exact problem, could it be my 32x?, all other 32x games work perfectly.

A bit of topic, but this thread suddenly makes me realize the why so many people gives me grief about making the Genesis 3 and 32X compatible and being able to play Knucles Chaotix (it actually runs pretty smoothly and without any issues).....While for others, this game won't even work in some real Genesis/32X combos...
