Here's a topic i don't know if anyone has ever had but here goes;

Would you play a crappy game if it was part of your favorite franchise. (ie, zelda, final fantasy, metal gear etc)

I would play any Zelda game regardless of how crappy it is because I love the zelda series. Anyone else have any?

Would you eat fifty pounds of dur butter to support the release of Bio Force Ape? If I enjoy the game, it's no longer a bad game. I have bought some pretty horrible versions of Contra games (Contra Spirits for GB/Color, MSX2 Contra) but there was a specific reason for that (also, the MSX2 Contra entertained me for a while, so see above about it not longer being a bad game). I generally like to buy games that are good.

Now, if it's free, I'll play anything long enough to find out whether it's good or not - but I won't play it beyond that (unless I have to do a review). Seems like common sense to me.

Sure I would, cause I wouldn't know if it was crap until I personally played it.

I have no regrets. Mainly just wishing my system wasn't temperamental and fully compatible with more stuff.

I played Resident Evil Gaiden and Resident Evil Survivor because I am a huge RE Fan, but both games sucked ass. Hell, even Umbrella Chronicles was dissapointing to me, but I beat it anyways. The only reason I play through them is to meet my goal of beating every Resident Evil game and to see what they are like.

I'd only keep playing a game if I enjoyed it, I'm not a paid reviewer or some guy on youtube so I wouldn't have to keep playing a game if I didn't like it.

I played through Link: Faces of Evil about a dozen times, I think it's fun.

Seriously I don't see why people bash the game, it has some decent platforming and I actually like the story and cut scenes, it's not nearly the disaster it is made out to be. Well, by Zelda standards I imagine, but I still like the game.

I generally let myself be persuaded by reviews. Even if I think a game is going to be awesome, if I read a solid majority of reviews saying the game is absolute garbage, I won't buy it. I'll feel bad that the game I really wanted ended up being a pile of trash, but I tend to trust the judgment of people who spend their lives playing games. I'll still buy a game I'm excited about if the reviews are split 50/50, and I've liked a lot of games like that. I really love Monster Hunter games, and they tend to get a lot of mixed reviews. At this point, I'd buy any Monster Hunter game that came out, sadly. I've put hundreds of hours into the three MH games I already have, and when MH:Tri comes out I'll buy it no matter how many people complain about the awful camera. I guess that's my favorite franchise.

I've played Castlevania: Judgement and it wasn't that bad. There was a lot I didn't like about it, but it was still fun enough for a bit. If there is a lame game in a series I like, I will still try it out. I would like to make up my own mind about what I feel the game is worth.

I plan on playing every game I ever get no matter how obscure or horrible it is(and with as many consoles as I'm collecting for that's a lot)--so I guess the answer is yes.

I would play the game as much as I could before getting bored. There's popular games in my favorite series which I downright hate (Super Mario Land 1, Pokemon Colosseum, etc.) but play anyways.
