I found one of these today. Looking around I saw a sealed one on Ebay sold for 8,000$? WTF. The online price guide here says 275. But I know these are slightly out dated and I'd hate to rip someone off. I read all about it being the hardest domestic t16 game to find and that it did not come in a case. All I have is the game and sleev and manual. Any help?

I also got Y's I +II
Air Zonk
and Bonks Adventure.

But the prices on these are easier to find.

$8000 for a sealed copy is bonkers, but at least it made somebody happy (hint: the seller)...cripes, $8000 is more than the value of most collections. /me thinks about what sort of things could be had for that money and shudders

Anyway, you just have the game, little plastic sleeve, and manual? Doubtlessly losing a bit of money on it not being complete with the jewel and the outer sleeve. Don't know prices since I haven't seen any selling, and I haven't been paying attention, sorry.

Also, part of the reason this game gets so much money is because the graphics are redrawn over the PC-Engine original, so people worldwide are buying it.

A sealed copy for $8K is indeed bonkers. I'm still holding out for a CIB copy one day. :-P

I've read it doesn't actually have a plasti CD type case. More a cardboard slip type case. I don't know. If you got this thats all you would. Need probably cheaper this way too.

I saw a sealed copy sold for 1,500 usd a month or 2 ago ... when did the 8,000 usd auction ended ?

I put it up on chase the chuckwagon. starting bid 300.00$. Let the game begin. Thought if I was going to do it I might as well do it right. Didn't want people to say some crazy number thar disaper when it's time to pay. Just to inform everyone someone pm'd me above 500$ soooo.......

Magical Chase for the TurboGrafx 16 (TG16) on Chase the Chuckwagon. Put the two together and you have

Magical Chase, the Chuckwagon!!!!? Lol!

Link below don't miss it. It only comes up for auction acouple time in a year if that. Last one sold for 1,200$ complete. I have the 2 most important parts. The game (so you can play) and the manual (so you know how to play).

and NO, I will not be ending it early.

Edit: Magical Chase originally came with the Hu card in a plastic insert which basically kept the box itself from crushing. The Hu card was in a small protective sleeve and the instructions were on top of that.

Its the Magical Chase that was sold by Aaron at pcenginefx.com. It sold on eBay for $2900 and the buyer had it graded and put it right back up on ebay for $8000.
