My xbox red ringed recently but to make a long story short it red ringed for 2 seconds then went back to normal after I hit it. So I don't wanna sell an xbox that may be broken to someone so instead I wanna trade it in. (if someone buy's it and it red rings boom gamestop return policy or gamecrazy whatever)

So what I have is:

hardware:
Xbox 360 60gigHDD
wireless controller
rock band drum set
rock band guitar
2 wired GH guitars
wired headset

games:
Assassin's Creed
Blazing Angels
Crackdown
Battlefield BC
GH aerosmith
GH WT
GH 3
RB 1
Gears of War
Oblivion
Sonic's UGC
Fallout 3
Unreal Tournament 3
Bioshock

So how much do you guys think would be the trade in value for this all? I'd like to get the ps3 slim. Also what would be the best place to trade in, deal wise

Not much unless you get a trade in boost. I saw a mint elite get 96 cash 120 credit. and that was months ago. 360's now get 50-60 hard drives 15 tops. accessories pennies on the dollar.

As for games they only give you a few dollars. I seen someone trade in 7 or 8 games that were good, halo 3, gears and only got like 45 and had to pay cash to get a 60 game. I was like dam.

I did but I don't really wanna sell someone an xbox that already red ringed and may red ring again

i would say like $150-$170 you might get offered for trade in. I would just trade in the system to gamestop, then sell the games as a lot on ebay or something.

Of course they do. Open systems have a greater chance of being modded. They can't resell those systems.

If you'll give it to me for a cheap price, I'd be interested.

To be honest...my current Xbox 360 Pro has red-ringed 3 times in the past, and it still works without any modifications after a year. Sometimes, they just red-ring when they get overheated but it's recoverable.

As was previously mentioned, you can't trade back hardware without the warranty sticker on it. You can also try selling/trading the games here on DP for PS3 games if you're still interested in getting the PS3 Slim, but I definitely would not trade anything to GameStop based on trade-in prices alone.

trust me, 360 games get buku prices on ebay, put em on there, and you have your money via paypal in a week or less.

My advice is simple : All major game store are thieves so avoid at all cost, end of story. As soon as they scan your bar code on the game forget it you are getting hacked.
