Selling it all...

I think its time that I get rid of my vast collection... I dont even care that I get what its worth, I decided that I just want to get rid of it... ever get that feeling?

well... my collection consist of

atari 2600 darth vader
dreamcast
snes
saturn
coleco gemini
retro duo
atari jr
sms
turbo grafx16 with cd
neo geo
atari jaguar
sega cdx
both sega cd's with both genesis
top loader nes , and regular nes
famicon
n64
32x
ps1
3do
gamecube
ps2...

I still play my 360 so I'll be keeping that...

I dont know if i should sell them all on in a lot cheap so I can get rid of them all, or if I should just sell em off one by one...

any suggestions?

everybody regrets selling consoles. Don't do it. I've sold many things and regretted almost all of it.

my 360 should be an exception because all 360's are 96 year olds that are on the fine line of dying.

Here's what you do, instead of getting rid of EVERYTHING get rid of things you know you won't miss. If that does mean a entire system. Ok, but I wouldn't just liquidate everything.

all my systems work... flawlessly...

my cdx... i payed $10 for it at value village... it was mixed in with all the portable cd players... lol... that was a score... guess someone thought it was a walkmen lol... but the cables were in a plastic baggy with the other cables on the wall for $2... that was a awesome day...

Id say I guess $40-50 for it...

I'll just wildly guess some people are getting excited and worked up by greed instead of doing their homework and reaching the obvious conclusion that crom is just trolling. Take a look at Mr. NIN's recent posting history if you think attempting to conclude a trade with this guy is a good idea.

Im probably going to go to my local game store first, with my list to see how much they want to give me for everything.... as Im not too huge on buying and selling on ebay... if its a slap in my face I'll hit you guys up with more PM's

a month ago, my application for a research grant through the gov got accepted to start researching ice levels through laval university and the canadian polar commission, I leave in about 3 months...

its funny... I went to school, got my degree, let it sit on the shelf... decided to work as a steel worker making $13 an hour, got laid off... then realized it was time to grow up... and bam... everything is falling into place lovely...

its not worth it. You might hate the clutter/mess now or something, but once its all gone you'll feel empty and have an urge to fill the space.


then youll fight it for about 6-12 months, and then start buying it all again on ebay, and end up losing money in the process.

when I started to collect again I only really went for the consoles...

however, for my nes I have about 20 games.. i tried to only buy classics... punchout, contra, zelda, bonks adventure... things like that...

my ps1 is sad... I only have novastorm lol...
gamecube i s sad too I only have mario kart... boo-urns...
