Was doing a bit of thrifting the other day and found something rather odd. A Ghosts'N Goblins for the C64 and IBM PC. Have been looking around for any info on it (rarity, price) and have yet to have any luck. Anyone know much about the capcom titles released on PC and C64? I'm not exactly sure I want to sell it due to what it is but wouldnt mind knowing more info on it. I checked DP and couldnt find it listed in the online rarity guide and I checked ebay and couldnt find a listing for it either. Only info I could find was on the wiki entry for it which gave a short paragraph review of it.

In those days discs that worked on multiple systems were not very uncommon. A lot of discs came with C64, Atari 8-bit, Apple, PC versions etc. The most common combinations IIRC were C64 and Apple or C64 and Atari.

The C64 version of Ghosts n Goblins is very solid, I've never played the PC version. If the disc has any value whatsoever it would probably be for the PC version rather than the C64 one.

Yeah, the C64 version of GnG is pretty good, one load but only the first four levels (programmer Chris Butler must have been told to not make it a multiload). Excellent music. Should be worth something, interesting to see it made it out in the US though (it's a UK programmed game).

I couldn't help you with value. I had a PC version on 5 1/4" floppy for sale on ebay for $1 for months with no takers. It's since disappeared in the mess or been thrown away.
