XBox 360 Achievement Chasers!! [TODAY! EASY 100 POINTS]

I know this isn`t a forum for achievements, but we have a fairly large group of people making a solid attempt at attaining a pretty tough achievement. We need your help!

It is the 1000 people online achievement for NBA live 07. If you don`t already know, it requires you to be online with 1000 other people at the same time. EA is probably knocking on the door to shut down the server, so we are trying to band together & get this done.

We set a date of Saturday, October 3rd at 2:00PM Eastern Time. Below are a few links to sign up & contact organizers or whatnot.

Sweet. I'm definitely in on this, this is one of the hardest achievements to get. Hopefully EA won't shut the servers down by the 3rd.

It is on most of the 360 sites. It is listed on the thread on TA about the time zones. It looks like 7pm for the UK.

They should just send the points into the accounts of anybody who logs into the game past the shutdown...er, wait.

See, if this was the sort of game I like, and the sort of Achievement I think signifies something, I'd do it. (Little Rocket Man from Episode 2 was special; I'm not a hypocrite, swear.)

Just to make it VERY clear this game has not been set to go offline yet, the last one that was suppose to go offline was Def Jam and that was still up the last time I checked.

Gamestop no longer has this item listed on their website(as they did a week or two ago) so hopefully that means our effort is going to pay off.

It did seriously. It will continue to until it is OFFICIALLY annouced that the game servers are being turned off. Until that day this achievement will not be possible.

I tried getting that achievement but I couldn't find any ranked or unranked games and I was on for a whole half hour. I guess everyone else was sitting in the lobby.

Anyway, I think we put forth a decent effort but I don't think this game will ever have 1000 players on at the same time again. It's to bad Bungie didn't make an achievement like this for Halo 3, where you'd need to be online at the same time as 200,000-500,000 other players.
