So I've sort of been working my way back through the final fantasy series, I'm on FF3 (american) right now. So anyway I have two problems:

1) What can I do about a rattley cartridge? The two clips on the top are a little loose and if I hold the top and shake, it doesn't rattle anymore. Is there a way to tighten the case?

2) When I started playing I noticed the image on the screen had about a .75 inch border and was at a slight angle. (the angle may just be my crt). I stuck in 5 other games and there was no empty border like ff3. I stuck ff3 back in and noticed the problem wasn't there in the menu and opening video. Is this common for snes games or at least ff3? Just trying to figure out if I need to take back the game or not.

Thanks for the input!
Jack

Looking at MobyGames screenshots (http://www.mobygames.com/game/snes/final-fantasy-iii__/screenshots/gameShotId,39105/), FF3 does have a black border so that's normal.

1) That's due to a bad molding process. As far as I know, you can't really do anything, except exchanging the back part for another that fits better. Or you could also put some strips of tape along the connector to fill the gaps.
