Problem #1: Error in Port 6?

One of my toasters will sometimes get an error screen that says something like "Err Port 6" or "Error Port 6" or "Error 6" or "Error Dock 6" or something along those lines. I've been trying to get it to come up so I can copy the exact phrase, but it isn't cooperating (Electronics never malfunction when you want them to). I believe it started doing this when I banged something against the front of the unit a long time ago.

I don't know what this means, but it occasionally causes problems. Anyone know what is wrong? I would like to fix it so I can trade/sell/give it to one of my friends.

Problem #2: Switcharoo

I was going thru a bunch of games I had gotten recently and one of my Zelda carts has Gyromite in it and a Gyromite cart has Zelda in it. Would unswitching them be difficult or should I just keep'em the way they are for now?

Problem #3: Pin Connector age/wear question:

I have several toasters. Is there any way of telling which Pin has the least/most wear? Is there something I should be looking for or should I just get an idea from which one plays games the easiest?

3. Open it up (screws are on the botton) and check how dirty and bent the pins are. The more downward the pins are bent (and the dirtier the pin connector is) would show how much wear the pin connector has.

2 Requires either a gamebit or a small flathead depending on how old the game is. Once you have the right tool to open it up, a switch is really very simple.

I've had this happen to me before, I got a 10 Yard Fight and ended up with a Legend of Zelda.

I've seen a Legend of Cage that had a Legend of Zelda in it...At least most of the words were rightLOL

This came up on here before. Apparently what used to happen is that people would rent good games and switch them out with their crappy game.

One would think that the original Zelda was better than Legend of Kage or 10 Yard Fight.

One would. And that's why they'd rent it, swap out their crappy game and return theirs in the wrong case (so the rental store gets Legend of Kage and doesn't know).

3. Restoring the connector is rather easy, if you want to give it a shot:

Also, cleaning the pins with a toothbrush and isopropyl alcohol is recommended.
