So, as I posted in the September finds thread, I found a Sega CDX at a local Value Village. It came with the original power supply. The Genesis part works just fine but the CD part does not. It comes up with the message "CLOSE THE CD DOOR" on the Sega CD screen, even when the disc door is closed. I am guessing this is a problem with the disc door missing the switch when it is pushed down. I really cant figure out how to take the system apart though. Anyone else here have some experience properly dismantling this crammed beast?
