I want to start collecting Video Game marquees. Any info on what to look for in a marquee? I just need any helpful info on how to get started and what to look for when buying one. thank you.

Not a whole lot to it, really. Biggest thing is to make sure that there isn't any flaking or any other significant defects such as cigarette burns, carvings, etc. I've got a Pengo display and a Monaco GP bezel on my wall and they always make good conversation pieces.

I have a Donkey Kong Jr. marquee. I used adhesive velcro strips to attach it to the wall.

I just leveled mine out, got them where I wanted them, and put picture nails at each corner to hold them in place. Been like that for 2 years with no problems.

You can buy 3-M brand plastic hooks with adhesive strips at wal-mart or a similar store. No holes in the walls and you can just pull them off if you mess up or dont want them up any more, they leave no marks.
I've used mirror hangers. They are small plastic clips that screw to the wall and allow the mirror (or marquee) to slip in.

Overlay is a thin plastic film with the image printed on it. It goes on top of or behind a piece of clear plexiglas. Be careful paying much for "new old stock" marquees on Ebay, there are tons of reproductions. The forums at klov.com are a good plac to buy cheap marquees.
