Hi, im new here and im wondering if anyone here is really clued up with the 32X and could give me a little help with it.

Basically, i bought a jumble of sega stuff off ebay, im in the UK btw so it was a model 1 megadrive, model 1 mega CD and a 32x. ive managed to get the CD all hooked up, a few problems but it now works a treat. however i cant seem to get anything at all out of the 32x, im pretty sure its all hooked up properly because ive discovered that with all 3 consoles joined up im able to play the Mega CD using the Sega AV cable running from the back of the 32x to the tv, however with no sound.
It just seems to be when a cartridge is in the 32x, it does nothing, the screen kinda flickers when i turn it on but then remains black, ive read that pressing reset makes it all kick in but it still remains black. its been tested with 4 different 32x carts and some normal megadrive ones...
any help at all would be much appreciated.

cheers guys

Hi, theres a cable that goes from your 32X to your Megadrive, did you hook that one up as well? I'm sorry but thats the only thing I can think, I myself don't have a 32X.

Also, even if it might be a silly suggestion, make sure the 32x's power supply is plugged into it.
