View Full Version : Good idea/bad idea: using static duster on game consoles?

Over time a lot of dust piles up on my game consoles, especially noticeable on the black ones. I hear a lot of good things about those dusters that use static electricity to attract dust onto them, but I can imagine the bristles touching the connectors while I sweep it over the cartridge slots, which doesn't sound like a good thing.

What do you think?

You could always go with "better safe than sorry" and just not use it where your worried but I doubt that anything bad could happen from cleaning the outside of a console. Even if it touches a cartridge connector contact your more than likely going to safe.
