The new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Reshelled came out today and I really like it, at $9.99 it's well worth it.

The big thing though "imo" is they released 2 of the games I have severely "pun intended" wanted. The PSone classics Silent Hill and Legacy of Kain.

Silent Hill would run you around $50 on ebay and you can get all three of these games for a total combined price of $21.97. That's a good deal.

It's great that Legacy of Kain is on there. Now they need to add Dragon Warrior VII and I'll be happy.

Downloading the demo of Reshelled now!

I hope I like it! Would definitely pay $10 for it, if it's good! :)

Did they fix that annoying bug in Silent Hill where when played on a ps3 anytime you fire a gun the game starts emitting a hideous constant screech?

did they fix the load times in legacy of kain? while i own the ps1 and pc versions, i'd buy the PSN one if they managed to end the horrible load times.

SONY has done a good job with the new games available for the PSN ... now it's worth to take a look :D

FF7 was a great addition :D

They actually finally released a demo for Little Big Planet as well. I finally got a chance to play it and, while it IS a pretty game, I found it kind of boring *meh* Maybe I'll give it another try sometime...

Not sure but the PS1 emulation on PS3 does have the "faster load time" option for what that's worth (I think it simulates a 2X disc drive vs. the native 1X drive the PS1 had).

I thought PSOne's already had a 2x drive as standard?

Legacy of Kain.

Blood Omen or Soul Reaver? Blood Omen is good, but Soul Reaver isn't really.

Do the PS1 games available on PSN have any graphical improvements? Or do they look exactly the same as playing off a disc?

Hmmmm ... yes, looks like it does. Whatever the base speed is, I think the "reduce load time" setting simply emulates a faster drive speed, which subsequently doesn't increase load-times on some games.

Blood Omen and boy is it good as ever.

Blood Omen does in FACT load faster. I tested it and where it usually took 15+ seconds it now takes 5. The menus also load faster.

The graphics are much less pixelated and the colors are vibrant. I've never seen the game look this good. I would say it's worth it even if you own the disc. To me it's the best PSone transfer yet, seems like maybe they took a bit more time on it.

I tested Silent Hill and got no screeching from firing the gun, though I have to admit that the game doesn't look as good as I remember. Don't have my old disc anymore so can't compare but the film grain seems like maybe it didn't transfer so well, turning smoothing off seems best. It's still a classic regardless.

Yeah, the Silent Hill ebay fiasco pretty much ended last January/February. I've seen copies going for under $20 all summer.
