I know how games can go up to like 2 or 4 (or sometimes 8 or 16 and even whatever that new FPS game says) but are there any with a minimum of 2 or more? seems kind of an odd question to ask, lol

I know there are some games that are just not as good with one player, such as Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles

The Adventures of Cookie & Cream

It can be played 1 player, but its split screen, and you have to control both sides of the screen. So its very, very hard to play 1 player, a 2nd person is needed to advance into the game more.

heh, i just realized another possible one is Gyromite >_> as long as you don't have an ROB, as I don't

Cookies and Cream is a poor example though - you just said it can be played by 1 person.

Minimum means no less than 2 people, at least, are required to play.

The 3DO Game show Twisted game required at least 2 player minimum.
The PSX demo NBA 2 Ball is strictly 2 people only.

It's more modern, but L-O-L on Nintendo DS is multiplayer-only.

Warhawk for the PS3. Beyond needing a network to do even a home game it require two people to do much of anything.

The original "Four Swords" portion of the GBA "Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past/Four Swords". I believe it required having 4 players.

Four Swords Adventures however had a single-player option.

Pretty much all Mattel's sports titles on the Intellivision.

I know there's a bunch of old classic computer games that were 2-player minimum titles, I just can't think of any other than a few like Cosmopoly (TI-99/4A). I always hated that, I find a game that I like, go through the effort of mail ordering it, and it turns out to be two-player only.

Nope, just had to have 2 or more players.
My roommate and I played through it together in college.

I know it's not a "classic game", but Zekkyō Senshi Sakeburein (AKA: Exclamation Warriors) on DS is multiplayer only.

i can think of a ton of games that suck without 2 players, but none that require 2 players.

And who said games weren't social?

They force your friends to come!

what friends?
The ones that live in our TVs!

8 Eyes on the NES is much easier with two players; at the very least you need to have two controllers hooked in at once to control both characters fully at the same time.

Xenophobe as well, unless you want to play the game with 2/3 of the screen with the game logo on it.

still was more than I had around. pffft.

Anyway, as noted in that AVGN review that Atart 2600 Indiana Jones game required the use of two... controllers.. ... for some reason.
