That's right, one of the the hottest games this holiday is hooking up with one of the hottest consoles for presumably the hottest limited edition bundle of this year: the new limited edition Modern Warfare 2 Xbox 360 Bundle (http://www.xbox.com/en-US/press/2009/0915-mw2.htm). It includes an astronomical 250 gig hard drive(the largest this console generation), a copy of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, a headset and two wireless controllers. And the price? A very affordable $399(if you bought a seperate elite, copy of MW2 and an extra wireless controller you'd end up paying more than this package...and have 130 less gigs of hard drive space).

Many have speculated that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will not only be the biggest selling game of this holiday season, but the biggest selling game of the year(and perhaps next year as well). The 360 version was almost already guaranteed to outsell the other versions but this just adds even more incentive.

My only beef with Microsoft is that during the announcement trailer for this(viewable on the 360 dashboard) Major Nelson said that the 250 gig hd would not be sold seperately. Wtf?? Regardless, this limited edition with one of the biggest AAA titles this year will most likely fly off store shelves. Preorder early and grab it when you see it.

You'd wanna spend $250 on an HDD? :P

At the going rate for them currently, that's what MS would charge.

It is a little ridiculous to believe they won`t be selling the hadr drive solo. Maybe for awhile, but if they want to sell any "Games ON Demand" they`ll have to make it available eventually. Why should we have to buy 5 different 360`s just to keep up.

It is still a very nice deal if you need a new 360!

Are the games on demand that big? I've got a 120 and I don't think I'll ever fill it up. Still, I wouldn't mind having a 250 eventually. I wouldn't be surprised if they released an even bigger one at some point.

Here (http://www.engadget.com/2009/09/16/250gb-playstation-3-slim-uncharted-2-bundle-leaked/)'s something interesting.

If I was forced to pick a side, I would rather play Uncharted because it looks like the better game overall, more polished single player with more going on, plus it has multiplayer which looks fun but not as much to earn when you rank up compared to CoD.

Though the CoD bundle will probably sell more.

That thought actually did cross my mind. I paid $99 for my 120 gig hard drive because Best Buy had priced it wrong. I still have alittle more than 40 gigs left but having 130 more would be even better. I also agree with dylan that sooner or later they will sell this larger hd seperately.

I just googled it and although they have pretty much the same features(except one has MW2 and one has Forza 3), the MW2 one has a custom paint job/design while the Forza 3 one is just a plain 360. So we are getting the better deal than our UK brethren.

I transferred my 20 gig to the 120. Can you transfer files to the 250? I thought it was a one time thing. The system looks nice.

I'm 99.9% sure you can transfer your 120 gig data to the new 250 gig hd. I'm thinking about upgrading myself.

Many people such as myself would prefer a plain console compared to one getting the ugly branding on it such as this one (Sorry, but I don't find the special design on this attractive at all). So I'm hoping perhaps we'll also be getting the Forza bundle, though it sounds doubtful.

Yes, you can transfer to a larger hd size. You just can't transfer to a smaller hd size (Though no one would want to anyways). Unsure if you can transfer to a hd of the same size as the one your transfering your content from, but again, why would anyone want to.
