Whew, so the last time we posted pictures, we were in a townhouse with cramped, but decent sized room.

When we were looking to buy a house in 2008 we knew we wanted to try to find something affordable (of course!) and something that could contain our beast of a collection. The room that contained it in our apartment was starting to get... cramped to say the least. So when we walked into one of the prospects we just knew.... the master bedroom wasn't made for sleeping - it was made for GAMING!

There are some things in the room custom made, not all by me but there were certain things made that take care of every last little detail. The curtains were brought from the apartment - I had found a brand new bolt of fabric and made them. Since the windows here were a little different, we had to space them out differently than the apartment. Port didn't want fabric covering up the taller of the two TV stands, so it worked out that I would have two panels to put over the flat panel. The Gameboy Advance sign helped to fix the gap that was driving me crazy over the tall stand.

The other big custom job that I did was make wallplates. I just got the wallpaper wallplate from Home Depot and spent an afternoon scanning and making templates. I only took pictures of the few easily accessible plates to give you an idea. If anyone wants to do the same, I will happily email the files along. Duplex: Super Bomberman 2, Burgertime, Castlevania, Megaman 3, Rampage. Switch: Sonic, Super Mario Bros. (Famicom). A Solomon's Key rocker and the Pac plate (see pic) are the two specialty ones.

Some of the plates I had to order online because they were specialties that Lowes & HD don't carry. I had bought a do-it-yourself Coaster kit and made a few with the NES classics boxes (probably not pictured). Sniderman's custom clocks are hung proudly in the windows.

Aaaaaaand enough chatter, the pictures can speak the rest of the words that I would keep babbling about.

Wow.... Is there any video game stuff that you don't have?
That's an awesome collection, something which I can only aspire to have.

Looks awesome. All games look easy to get to and play, plus I like how cozy the room feels; a big difference from the industrial shelving of some game rooms.

You mean the Game Boy to sewing machine thing? I didn't see that, was looking for an old-fashioned Singer table (many of those aren't as valuable as one would think).

It is :). It's in small closet #6. We don't have a Singer table but I believe my mom has my great-grandmother's stashed at her house somewhere.

I am confident that, upon entering the game room, I would never be able to decide a game to play. Unless that game is "brain esplode."

Also, you got rid of Mr. Do! :(

Is that a cable/satellite TV receiver I see? That seems kind of pointless, no?

Amazing collection!!!

NES for me. :)

That's probably the AV switcher. We had a digital cable box but got rid of it to save money, being as the TV has a tuner in it and we rarely watch TV in there anyway (well, we rarely watch TV period...).

I was going to do a video tour but I have a very unsteady hand and even with VDub filters, most people would probably barf all over themselves if they watched it. :P

It's like Mecca. It's also beautifully designed and laid out like a museum, just gorgeous. Bravo.

Please considering upgrading those futons, though. :) I had one just like them and it and it was murder on my back.

Pretty damn impressive. As it was getting closer to the middle of the pictures I was thinking to myself where's the Turbografx stuff!?!?!? Then like a ray of light a few came shining through on the little cd rack. Wonderful!

That was amazing.

What's your favorite system?

Dreamcast. It has a little bit of nearly everything that I like to play.
