Many years ago, I came across a very unusual game at the now closed Fun' N Games in the Willowbrook Mall (NJ).
It was a fantasy based game with an actual keyboard built into the cabinet.
I only played the game once but I did not last very long. I think I answered a question wrong and it was game over.
The game in my mind resembled Cadash. but I believe you had to use the keyboard to answer questions.
I would appreciate the name of the game so I could go about doing some research on the game and discover what it was really about.
Any help is appreciated.

Is it Thayer's Quest?
http://klov.com/game_detail.php?game_id=10085
(the search engine at KLOV does wonders: all I had to do was to type "keyboard" in the search field, check the Search Game Descriptions box, et voilą! The only other game that came up in the results that isn't a Bemani game was Quake Tournament Edition.)

Thayer's Quest had a keyboard didn't it? That's sort of fantasy but I don't rememeber answering questions.
Edit---
I was beaten to it. Anyways, that's all I could think of.

Like others have said, "Thayer's Quest"
The "questions" you would answer would be of the "do you want to do this or that?" variety.

Which actually suits this type of game better than Dragons Lair's controls.
I was thinking the OP meant more along the lines of answering trivia or some such...

Typing of the Dead had an arcade release as well, but I wouldn't call that fantasy or answering questions.

Quiz & Dragons, maybe? No keyboard, but it was a fantasy trivia game...

Yes, it seems to be Thayer's Quest. Thanks to all who replied.
Boy was I off when I said it resembled Cadash. It actually looks like more like Dragon's Lair.
I suppose Cadash may have been in the same arcade at the same time and thats where the mix up lies.
I guess I find it hard to belive Dragon Lair type of artwork, or laser disc based games were still being developed at the time. But my memory and logic is more fuzzy than I care to admit.

Well, that's odd that Typing of the Dead didn't show up in the search results in KLOV, even though the word keyboard does appear in the game's description. Meh.

Also, in a style similar to Typing of the Dead, Lupin Sansei: the Typing, based off Lupin Sansei: The Shooting. Although you likely didn't see that one as it was an import title.
