does the pc engine system play the american games? hucard ,cds andscds?

No, tfrank, I am sorry, but the PC Engine system does not play American HuCard games. It does, however, play all American Turbo CD/Turboduo CD games.

hu cards are pinned out differently than american cards but with cds theres no region protection.

The next question is what's the best setup.
You'll want a PCE Duo R or RX and a north american tg16 to play north american hucards.
BTW, this has been asked and answered a number of times before.

BTW, this has been asked and answered a number of times before.Multiple times on multiple forms. Even a simple google search would give an answer to this. I'm not really sure why people ask these questions when it's so easy to find answers with minimal searching, but then again I answered it.
