Yeah, it's worth it. Hopefully they have the instructions too.

In my opinion, heck yeah!

Specially if the games are complete, with box and manual.

By any chance, is your copy of California Games contain a blue cart? Does it say "Sega 1990" in the back of the box?

Actually, I don't have these. Saw a listing for it and have inquired about purchasing it...

That's less than $2 per game + a system. I'd say yes.

The controllers look like Genesis controllers....do those work with the master system?

They will work for like 98% of the game library. There are a few titles that behave erratically and are unplayable without an SMS controller, Wonder Boy in Monster Land comes to mind as one of them.

Very nice pick up on that lot.

Didn't ask about the instructions. Figured that would be a bonus.

Too bad about the lack of SMS controllers. Other than that, I agree that this is absolutely worth it. Just the games would be.

Even without the official controllers, that's $40 well spent (even with the inclusion of those so-called "Great" sports games that are anything but).

I'd say that about 75-80% of the SMS games I've seen in the wild over the years have been boxed or complete, which kind of surprises me.

Nice Find. Just a note that Shanghai cannot be played with Genesis controllers from what I remember.

The stuff came today. All games had instructions except 2: Hang On and Safari Hunt & Great Basketball.

Very good condition too! California Games is a black cart with 1987 on the back of the box...
