I have broken out my old N64 Gamecube and SNES. I was playing them for a while and my son noticed the AC adapter was hot. So i went to touch it and sure enough it was hot. I dont remember them getting that hot. It wasnt so hot you could not touch it, but could tell it was getting rather warm. I dont think this is normal. So what can i do to fix it, or do i have to buy another ac adapter? thanks for the help.

They get pretty warm, so I don't think you have anything to worry about.

The best way to take care of them though is to always unplug them when you're done or put them on a power stick with a switch so they're not always working even when going unusued between sessions when you have them out for use.

They warm up a bit. They also make a tiny bit of heat when the system is turned off. Waste of electricity if you ask me. I always leave my junk unplugged while it's not being used.

That's good advice, in regards to your junk.
