Last night I exhaled on my Virtua Fighter 2 case and the hinge broke. So I cut a piece of plastic out of another broken CD jewelcase and superglued it to the case to bridge and reinforce the hinge at the break.

These cases suck, and I have some other Saturn games with partial cases or broken and missing hinges. I wish there were something better, but for now I'd be satisfied if I could just find some more of these longbox cases. I've bought sports commons for a dollar or two at mom-and-pop game stores and cannibalized the cases for my non-sports games, but if there's an easier way to get replacement cases (preferably for a buck or less per) then I'd love to hear it.

I bought a box of NBA Jam Extremes (I think it had 24) for $5 off ebay awhile back. You just need to watch for stuff like that. I used all my extra cases though fixing my Saturn and Sega CD cases.

I think he has got the best idea on this one. Just try and buy a bunch of worthless old games and sac them to get the plastic cases you need.

Check eBay, I have bought new cases on there in the past.

My recommendation: Stop breathing near them

Don't store your games in them! Put those cases on the shelf and keep your games in a cd binder next to them. That way you can display the cases but never have to actually touch (and therefore break) them.

BTW, I just won:
