Pirates Gold for the Sega Genesis....rare?

Just found this game at the Goodwill today. It is complete with case and manual. I looked it up in the Video Game Collector price guide and it says $50?!? Is this game rare or something?

More like $20 if that. Collector Guide books or magazines or anything like that pretty much suck for prices.

The game originally came with a poster too, so yours isn't totally complete. It's worth more than $3 though.

Make sure there's a map of the Carribean too. If you don't have that, you're not remotely CIB. That map was pretty important for gameplay.

I also found pirates gold cib recently underpriced, at 3.95. Mine had the map but it was falling apart. Also, I picked up Ducktales 2 in box and cologo 13 cib, and at buy 2 get one free I picked up the lot for eight bucks!
