So I got this Genesis arcade pad (http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/egamia/images/2/27/GenesisArcadePowerStick.jpg) at a flea market Sunday, and the joystick barely works. I have to use a lot of force to make it respond at all, which isn't normal. What might cause this? I already opened it up and cleaned the contacts a bit with rubbing alcohol. Could it be something other than the contacts?
<EDIT> Resolved. These had some of the dirtiest contacts I've ever seen. Took quite a bit of eraser to get good current going through them.
