I just picked up a Wii and was hoping some of the parents out there can give me suggestions of games which might be appropriate for my 3 year old daughter. I apologize if this has been asked before the forum search kept rejecting my strings.

I got my 18 month old boys playing Wii Sports bowling. I make a big deal about it even if they hit only one pin.

That's one advantage that the Wii has when it comes to little children. A kid does not have to do well to feel like he is having fun. A child playing a typical gaming system is just pressing button and watching the screen move. A child playing the Wii is actually MOVING the controller to make the equivalent action on the screen. The child feels like he is directly involved in the outcome of his actions with the Wiimote as with buttons, that connection is not so obvious. The direct action aspect of the wii makes a child feel like he is "playing" regardless if he get that one bowling pen or ten:)

Yes, one of my boys already realizes that moving/flipping the Wiimote makes the ball go. But I'm doing most of the controlling, w/ the Wiimote in their hand.

Now I gotta get 'em going on that PS2 Frogger mat...;)

My four-year-old will sit for hours just making Mii people that look like people she knows in real life -- no game required. She also likes the mini games on Wii Fit, and will occasionally play Mario Kart although she spends most of her time driving (A) the wrong way or (B) into walls.

The best Wii games for kids are GameCube games. Get some Kids GC games and use the GameCube Wavebird controller. The Wii controller is too difficult for most kids.

Well I bet if you find Wii Music *shivers* a very little kid could have a blast with it. Just waving their arms making sounds.

Wii Music is designed with Kids in mind.

Hell anything with Wii in is good for kids.
