How common are these things? Were they only sold at the Tokyo Game Show? I recently ran into a silver Japanese version...are they less common than the blue ones and what would you say a silver one is worth? $30 a good deal? I saw some on ebay, but the silver ones on there look quite over priced. Are there any other colors or variations of these?

By the way, I think there's a 'whats it worth' thread somewhere but haven't found it. My apologies if this is the wrong forum.

There is a "what's it worth" forum that people can see only after they've been here a few days.

On topic, my friend has a blue Slime controller. I think they were released in the US one way or another... I'll try and find out from him.

I don't think the blue ones are rare at all and they were released in the US. I'm not sure about the silver ones though.

By the way, shipping from Taiwan might be expensive if your in the US, but if anyone wants one, paypal me and I'll send one over to you.

I have the blue controller, and its the most uncomfortable controller I've ever used. Don't expect this to be anything more than a collector's item.

thats exactly what makes them so awesome!

I'm glad they're practically unusable as a controller; it means I never have the urge to bust the thing out of its packaging.

I dunno about the silver one, but the blue ones are not rare at all. They even have em on Amazon and they're fairly inexpensive.

Blue released in the US. I still have a sealed one.

Super cool, but I'm sure it's totally useless. All the best collectibles are useless.
