View Full Version : Master System RF problems

I just got a Master System Model 1 and it seems to refuse to work with RF swtiches. I've tried 2 RF switches on it, and neither seem to give me picture from the console through the TV. And yet A/V Cables for it work just fine. Anyone have any suggestions as to how to fix this?

Are you using the right channel? Check which channel it's set for on the back of the console.

I tried both channels (3 and 4) neither seem to work.

Well, I've pulled up the schematics for the SMS (Here if you want them (http://www.smspower.org/dev/docs/sms_schematic.gif)), and I see quite a few caps in that circuit. Maybe one of them went bad? That, or it could be a broken solder joint.
