I don't have a Nintendo 64 so this is untested but it most likely works. See Pics below of the actual cartridge. By the way what does the small white 2-pin connector do?

Nice find. I can only guess that the connector may be used to plug in a gameboy link cable. If this was supposed to be used by the press, it is likely that they would want to show off the multiplayer portion of the games they played.

My brother sold his wideboy for $265 shipped around a year or so ago. I would guess it would sell in that price range, but you'd have to find the right kind of buyer.

I believe it's a dev tool that allows you to play Gameboy games on an N64.

This one looks like the "original" Wide Boy 64 which only plays B&W games... I've always wanted the AGB one. Very nice item indeed.

I sold my AGB one for $250 a while back, but it also came with all the original documentation. Very cool item for sure, one that I miss on occasion.
