Kinda need to know the specs of the AC Adapter, and how you got it to work in Europe (step down converter/transformer, etc). Would be much appreciated, as I'm thinking about investing in Cheramic White PS2 Slim from Play-Asia. I currently have a step down converter I'm using with everything from SNES to Saturn to Dreamcast, but I'm not sure if it would work with the PS2.

The specs for it is;

100 WATT
PRI: 220-240V - 50Hz 100W
SEC: 115V - 50Hz 870mA

For the most part, the AC adaptors of newer consoles are made to work with a variety of regions without needing stepdown converters (I think)... the problem you'll have in Europe is getting a different electrical plug, because you can't just use the two-prong ones (right?)

Yeah, you're right. We use two pins aswell, but they're differently shaped from what you use in the USA and Japan.

The pre-90000 series PS2 Slims had external power supplies which were universal, but as far as I know, the 90000 model with the built-in power supply aren't universal, even though I've seen some pictures that conflicts with that theory.

Would be hard as hell finding a european PS2 90000 power cable though, so I ended up with a brand new 75000, with the universal power supply.

Mine is a 75000 model too... I'd hate to be stuck with the 90000.
