I have been reading through and documenting things I find in old Nintendo Power magazines, and I found this interesting statement regarding the Super Famicom version of Wizardry. In the September 1992 issue, it mentions that they were expecting that Wizardry would ship with a device that would allow you to transfer your character data from the Famicom version to the Super Famicom version. Does anyone know of such a device?

I have no idea if it actually worked as such on Wizardry, but I do believe the Turbo File was compatible with both Famicom and (with an adapter) Super Famicom.
However, checking the Wizardry V Japanese ROM, I don't see any sign of STF compatibility (easy to check, since unlike the US version, it's bilingual)
(Wizardry V was released in Japan 11/20/92, according to GameFAQs. All of the other SNES Wiz games were late releases (1995-99).)

Well, according to this page (http://www.snescentral.com/article.php?id=0908), Wizardry 6 was compatible with the Turbo File Twin. However, the article that mentioned the connection between the Famicom and Super Famicom was in late 1992, and the games that worked with the Turbo File Twin came out after 1995, by the looks of it.
