Hi all,
It pains me to do this, but I'm parting with my hand-built SNESp. This unit was custom-built by Brian (aka joedog86), a well-known contributor of the BenHeck forums and also a member here on DP.

This portable contains a full SNES-mini board, original SNES controls, and an LCD screen from a Sony PS1 unit. The unit is powered by internal li-poly batteries and includes a smart charger that plugs directly into the bottom. It also includes a headphone jack and an A/V out jack for hooking up to a TV (you'd need to pick up a fairly-cheap cable to make use of the A/V out).

The unit works flawlessly. Since it contains an original SNES and not a clone, there are no cart compatibility issues and it will play your entire licensed SNES collection.

I highly recommend checking out Brian's original build thread right here (http://forums.benheck.com/viewtopic.php?t=25304&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0). There are tons of pics and a link to a YouTube video of the unit in action.

Here are a few photos I took of the system today. My camera skills really don't do justice to it (and my battery died, heh) but I can provide more pics or action shots if requested.

Asking price is $275 shipped and insured to anywhere in the continental US, but I will entertain any reasonable offers. International shipping would be extra, please PM me for details.

My DP feedback thread is right here (http://www.digitpress.com/forum/showthread.php?t=128422&), and my eBay feedback as a seller is right here (http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=jperryss&ftab=FeedbackAsSeller).

Thanks!

I am very interested, do you have any scratches on the screen? Whats the overall condition? Out of curiosity why are you selling it?
Thank you

The screen does have some VERY faint markings on it. I hate to call them scuffs because that sounds worse than they actually are. I'm pretty sure they were on the screen when I received the unit from Brian. They are very faint and not visible when playing.

Overall condition is 95/100. The only markings you'll find on the unit are some VERY minor remnants from the assembly/painting process. Remember that this was built by hand (with lots of sanding, body filler, painting, and wiring) and not on an assembly line, so these things are to be expected. They are also unnoticeable from more than a couple feet away.

I'm selling it because my eyes are not what they used to be. I started having eye strain problems early last year (before Brian even finished building this) and the portable gaming seems to be making it worse. I'm selling this and my PSP. It's killing me to get rid of both of them, but I can't play either one for any length of time, which is kinda frustrating. Part of getting old, I guess.

Anyway, here are some more close-up pics to complement the ones in the BenHeck thread. Sorry my camera stinks, heh.

Just realized I didn't take any pics of the rear of the unit, heh. The L and R buttons are molded into the back of the unit. you can see them in these pics from Brian's original thread on BH (link is in the first post).
