Ummm... somewhere between the 30 minutes I spent making the post for the game early Monday, and 3 minutes ago...I swear I thought I already posted this thread.

Well, since all that work is gone. I'm not going to redo it. Play Baseball Stars 2, don't forget the Neo Geo BIOS if you need it.

my favorite baseball game ever. The graphics were great back then and still look decent today. I like the fact that the game doesn't get too caught up in technical aspects and mechanics. It is fast paced and fun. I always wished they came out with a third part for the newer systems.

OK, so it's not that bad but by the 6'th inning loosing 7 to zero I had to call it quits. I'm just not good at the timing involved for this sort of thing. Even with the bigger bat power up. Any hints to this game?

The only baseball game I've ever been good at was Baseball on the Gameboy (http://www.digitpress.com/DP/cmf/game.cmf?gameid=21285). I've tried playing Baseball Stars on many occassions and just fail each time. The other week I managed to last 2 minutes on my quarter at one of the local arcades, with a 3-0 loss in that time! I respect those players that can slaughter this game.

I do really enjoy this game. I'm pretty decent at it, as well. I can't win 500-0 or anything like that, but usually a good solid 7-2 game.

I can't say I have real tips on how to do better, I do feel like there is a bit of randomness to the whole thing. I just seem to be able to hit 'em where they ain't.

Overall, it's a fun arcade game, but still nowhere near as good as the original Baseball Stars on the NES. The whole build a team, and make you own player options push it over the top.

Strange how it times out on you. Got two runs in my first at-bat ever though (homer batted in a run) and a jumping catch on a low fly to 2B.

I like how the Australian team is named "Aussies - Thunder." Can't you hear, can you hear that thunder? I played as the Bisons though.

For next week I nominate Data East's Fire Trap!

Just giving a heads up that tomorrow's game may be a few hours late (I know, I know) but I've been trying to fight off a nasty little cold bug. So I'm going to try and sleep in a bit. The game will still get out, it just may not be in the morning.

I actually have a Baseball Stars Professional MVS cartridge that came with my Neo Geo cabinet. To this day, I have played it a grand total of one time.
